I was born an entrepreneur, trained as an anthropologist and am currently incarnated as a writer and facilitator of workshops and retreats. I wrote five Dutch books, including Zin, which HP/De Tijd calls a “source of inspiration for every author” and which recently appeared in a renewed and expanded edition. My most recent book Lieve Dot, is a compilation of my advice column that I enjoyed writing in the acclaimed Dutch magazine Happinez for years.
During my years of intense writing, I found that it often was lonely. And probably partly because of that, difficult.
That led to an exploration of how writing – making your inner world visible – could be more fun. As in more exciting. More embodied. More connected. That has become the foundation of my writing programs – both online and in my five-day retreats.
So are you looking for more lust in your life through writing? Then you came to the right place.
Whether you attend my five-day retreat, travel along with me in my 365 Days of Writing, take an online course from home, or work one-on-one on your writing project; my goal is to relight your fire of your writing desire. From there I support you with all practical, stylistic and existential matters that come with (starting) writing.
More than writing: my love affair with The Work by Byron Katie
As a seriously curious person, I am always looking for ways to find more meaning in my life. And then share that. For almost ten years, The Work© by Byron Katie has brought endless clarity to my own life. Recently I decided to share this through monthly online sessions and weekend retreats and an annual summer five-day retreat. If you are looking for some sustainable peace of mind, come play with me in The Work.
I can’t wait to meet you in a retreat, online workshop or personal guidance. In the meantime, come say hello on Instagram!
